Pennsylvania State University M.A. in Education

After graduating, Emma started working in the ESL department at PSU as a writing teacher and an administrator in the International Student Office. After moving to the San Francisco Bay Area, she worked in the university admissions office. Years of experience in higher education have given Emma a deeper understanding of the admissions process and education system. Her experiences working and living in various states on both the East and West Coasts have given Emma a rich cultural background as a PalmDrive counselor, enabling her to be skilled at helping younger students explore and think about their academic and career interests effectively during their high school years. By providing students with multidisciplinary information about college majors, she encourages them to develop the ability to make independent choices. Under Emma’s guidance, PalmDrive students have successfully gained admission to Ivy League schools such as the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, and Cornell University.
